Guest guest
I am scheduled to go to the National Jewish Hospital, Denver Colorado the first two weeks of August to have tests run to determine what is causing my allergic asthma. My allergist tells me if they cannot find out what is causing my asthma reactions no one can. She feels she had done everything she can do to help me. It seems every time I get completely off prednisone, after tapering my symptoms of coughing, shortness of breath and basic lousiness reappears. The hardest thing to conquer is not knowing when the symptoms are going to occur. I could me walking in the morning which I do almost every day or simply sitting in a chair at home. I was wondering if anyone in this group has gone to this hospital. I would like to know what was done at the hospital and an short explanation of how things went for you. Would you recommend the experience or not? Was the testing beneficial? Did the results change the way your allergist treats you? Thanks for your help.
