Guest guest
Thank you to those of you who responded to my previous post; I hope more of you will do so. A special thank you to who responded to us with the suggestion that we investigate the possibility of another board location with other features. I volunteered to do so, but in the meantime Doug and I think we might be well served by using some of the limited features does provide. If you click on the link to " files " you will find three MS Word files. One is a couple of years old and is from Greg, who posted a very helpful message on tips for getting reauthorized. Greg is a complete Xolair success story and is too busy with his wife and too young children to post often, but I think he still lurks. At any rate, he is the Human Resources guy at his job and is in charge of negotiating health benefits and such. Very good post by someone who has a clue about how the insurance companies operate. The next word file is " Xolair success stories. " I took a few of the posts from folks having success with Xolair and put them in a word file. I wish I had time to put all of them there. At any rate, this word file will be sent to new members upon joining automatically. It doesn't mean we should stop sharing our success stories, it's just a convenience for new folks. The third file is " The skinny on Xolair and cancer " and has five of the posts that we've had that give the most qualified information, two of which are from Pat, our Xolair specialty pharmacy nurse. That way if we have a new member who has a concern about the clinical studies and hasn't really studied what those mean, we can refer them to the file rather than keep on repeating this particular discussion. I plan to do the same thing with the discussions on hair loss and hearing loss. If there is another thread that y'all would like me to capture in this manner, please let me know. Take care, all, Addy Group co-owner Allergic asthmatic 35 years Xolair user almost 3 years Stubborn *itch 38 years Please make sure to discuss any changes in your treatment plan with your doctor.
