Phoenix and the larger cities have a whole lot of trouble with

pollution due to the number of folks who moved thinking they'd be

healthier there combined with the geographical factors resulting in

very little wind on really hot days and the like. Some of the

outlying areas at higher altitudes are very pleasant. I had trouble

changing altitudes in the day's drive from Phoenix to the Grand

Canyon and the day we drove back. Sinuses did NOT care for that.

Also, one has to remember that the desert is not without allergens

and while cacti probably don't produce a great deal of pollen other

things do. These grasses and trees will not be things that those of

us who don't live in the southwest will have been tested for OR we

will not have had a reaction to a scratch test for them without

previous exposure.

That said, climate can be a factor. One of my major asthma triggers

is cold, so I don't and won't live north of the Mason-Dixon line.

TAke care, all

CANADA. I want to shoot her in the head when she starts on this. My

entire fam is in Montreal and I have zero desire to move. So tell me

asthma also sucks in AZ and I will be able to tell her to go away

with her crazy ideas.
