Guest guest
If you haven't already done so contact Spoc Online. They will help your sister with the appeals process and/or help financially. https://www.spoconline.com/spoconline/xolair/channel.jsp Pat may be able to help you further. tlampros2000 <tom.lampros@...> wrote: Does anyone know of Xolair users that have gotten BCBS in Illinois to cover it? They won't cover it for my sister. She gets it now through a foundation but she's going back to work full-time and they won't provide it any longer because she'll make too much money. I think BCBS won't cover it becuase the respiratory test isn't bad enough but all other criteria is met. Any tips on getting coverage is appreciated. It's really been helping her. She has been on Pred for years and every other med for decades.
Guest guest
If you go to the files on the left, there is a great article Greg wrote for us a couple of years ago on how to get insurance company to cover it. All the BCBS variants have appeals processes. Also, if she's already on it, it might be easier now for her to be approved.... Good luck! --- In , " tlampros2000 " <tom.lampros@...> wrote: > > Does anyone know of Xolair users that have gotten BCBS in Illinois to > cover it? They won't cover it for my sister. Guest guest
BCBS of IL did cover it for months for me. but, abruptly stop coverage without notification. my doctor and i tried everything to get them to cover it again, but all we got was circle talk from them. it seems as though they scammed their way out of paying for it. we could not win. we fought and fought. and my condition meanwhile, got worse and worse because i could not get the drug. finally, the foundation helped me out. their name is Genetech or Genentech. whatever, they are a Godsend. i probably would've died if it weren't for their help. --- In , " tlampros2000 " <tom.lampros@...> wrote: > > Does anyone know of Xolair users that have gotten BCBS in Illinois to > cover it?
