Dear Lucy!

Welcome to this site and to the US! :)

You should take a look at my study book recomendations. See my files for such a

document. You will find my thoughts on several books there.

Try www.techlectures.com for a fast delivery of a book or CD-ROM. IF Joe Medina

has his book in stock you are ordering directly from the author, who can mail it

to you faster than waiting for a different book from Amazon. In addition

Techlectures sometimes has 'Last Chance " books for a small fee. These books are

not written by Joe Medina, but sold to him at a lower cost or donated to him and

he then sells them for the cost of shipment. A good deal. But you may not have

much of a choice, what ever he has he has (stock changes). This is my

uderstanding. Tthere may be more to this, but I am in the right ball park.

Adopt A tech is now out of buisness. But it is possible that WE can start a

recycle or resell program right here from this site!!!!

Soooooooooooo IF anyone has a book that they are interested in reselling or

recycling (renting or lending out) to someone on this site please feel free to

advertise it right on this site!!!

Lucy, Without your post I would never have thought about placing this post or

the next one to ask others to lend, resell or rent their used study books. Thank

you for prompting me. Necessity is the MOTHER of invention! There is a need!

Hope you can get a book soon!

Respectfully,

Hi, all,

I am a new one here. I have registered for the March exam.

My background is like this:

I have a BS degree in pharmacy oversea after Jan,2003. So I can't

register for FPGEE exam.I contacted with national board. But no

response. So I have no clue at all about what I should do in US for

my future pharmacy career. So I decide to take Pharmacy technician

exam first. Hope I could get help here.

By the way, I try to by a book for this test, do you guys have any

suggestion? I order one from Amazon. They don't have that book till

March. What a pity!

OK, hope I could make friend here.

Have a nice day!

Lucy

Hi Tom,

Do your doctors know about your sleep walking ? This is definitely something

they should know. Do you take a sleeping pill?

I am new here and My name Tom and I have 5 great kids. In 2002 I was in a work

related accident. I have had my C4-C7 fused and 5 blown lumber disc. I have had

to have a implanted morphine pump to help with the lumbar pain. I have had a lot

of " Epidural Steroid Injections " Some work and some don't. I am having trouble

with sleeping. It takes me all of less then a minute to fall a sleep but I don't

move when I am sleeping and I wake up 5 or 6 times a night due to the pain. If I

stay sleeping I wake up like a board and in a lot of pain I can go about 4

nights doing this and then I am up sleep walking. I guess I am so tired that I

know I need to get up but I can't remember doing it. I have found my self

falling in the bathroom and waking up after a fall in the living room. Can any

one out there give me some advice as to " how to stop sleep walking? " Thank you.

I have talked to my Dr and he is looking into it. I have tried sleeping pills

but it made me sleepwalk more. My body is in so much pain that it wakes me up

and with sleeping pills it puts my mind to sleep but my body needs to get up and

moving . Thank you for your time. great5kids

Well that why I asked. It's not uncommon for people to sleepwalk on sleeping

pills.
