Guest guest
Steve, We have had a couple of folks show improvement within just a few days. It's not as common, but it does happen! As to your coughing, that has been more of a problem for me as I get older. It does improve over time with Xolair, but I still have bouts of it once or twice a year. This last time, my doctor told me to get OTC mucinex and take two twice a day for a day or two and then one (the normal dose). Mucinex is just a whopping dose of guifanesin, which helps thin the secretions. BE SURE TO CHECK WITH YOUR DOC if you think you want to do this b/c I don't know what kinds of meds or other health issues it interacts with. Also, double or triple your daily intake of water.
