Guest guest Posted February 1, 2006 Report Share Posted February 1, 2006 Hi Fran I too am staring Xolair next week!!!! I forget what my IGE level was, but it was low....around 90 or 100. I too take ALOT of inhaled steriods and bronchiodialators. I am currently just tapering off of prednisone since being on it for the past three months (have been on pred 6 times the past year). I am really hoping that Xolair allows me to not need prednisone anymore...I will worry about the rest of the inhalers after that! I am currently taking: Atrovent 2 puffs tid; Ventolin 2 puffs tid; Symbicort 4 puffs tid; Singular; Theophylline 300mg daily; Nasonex; and Norvasc and Lasix for high blood pressure (thanks to prednisone); and Opticrom for my eyes (thanks again to prednisone!) It will be interestin to see how we do!
