Guest guest Posted February 6, 2004 Report Posted February 6, 2004 Hi Im new the group and am looking for some help. Im in the Uk and have recently been told i have a disc prolapse, stress fractures and spondylothesis of the lower spine. My symptoms consist of muscle spasms and weakness with occasional numbers in my leg. Pain in back which also radiates down my leg. This has been going on for a number of years, off and on but recently has increased in frequency and severity. Ive had a MRI scan and my Dr suggests the best option would be physiotherapy. However, my GP argues this will not help but does have a totally dismissive attitude towards my problem! Will physio help?....this is not starting to have a big impact on my life and have recently been taking lots of time off work. Would be grateful for anyones thoughts, Thanks, Jane Quote
