Guest guest Posted September 23, 2004 Report Share Posted September 23, 2004 I just picked up a new medication for my pain today. neurontin 300mg 3xday. I Have the genetic form of spinal stenosis with DDD. My doc says that if this doesn't work he is goingto put me on narcotics. this really scares me. I have read the possible side affects of this stuff, and am worried that I won't be able to do for my family. But the narcotics scare me even more! I am a recovering addict and the idea of having that stuff in my home scares me realy bed. Please has anyone had success with this neurontin? I am so tired of being in so much pain, but I still have children to take care of. I am sruggling with all of this. I don't want to walk down the street with my children using a cane at 40 I want to be as active as I was before. Ok am done whinning.
