Guest guest
I can only tell you from my experiences that there is not time frame on how long it will take to heal. I was injured March 2nd again from another car accident and I am still in pain. I can say some days it is better than others but I do know they stress strengthening exercises to help. For me they never worked but I do what they say anyway. Have they taken and xray of your lower back? I know with me they seem to wait a long time before they do other tests to see what is wrong like MRI's. Wishing you the best of luck. Guest guest
Jon...I would return back to the doctor and ask for x-ray, CT or MRI and make sure there is no disk or vertebrae damage. Some muscle strains can take awile to heal, but you need to make sure what is going on first. I started out the same way you are describing...still and sore in morning and easing with activity. Put it off to old age but it took a minor slip and near fall to totally screw up my back, resulting in surgery and lifelong pain and disability. Also if slipped disk would it get less " tight " as day goes on and I move around more?
