hi Vicki i believe sometimes its a sycological thing cause alot of times

that very thing happens to me . i went to my dr app. and i was just like hey

all the pain was gone and the minute i left it was back. but no its there .

in my opinon i think its a syco thing .... i have hurt for 16+ years and its

just funny how a doctors app. can make ya feel oh so much better then at

once after you leave hello pain city is back. so yeh i can relate to that

feeling...so no your not alone...Larry

Hi Vicki,

Did the Dr. order only a lumbar MRI? The symptoms you describe sound

similar to my pain and I have a herniated disk in my cervical spine. Out of

curiosity are you left-handed?

Thank you, I will ask my dr. if he will do that as well, because I feel it is

way more then just in my lower back. I know how pain can travel, but this is

just to much. It is so hard to keep up with my baby who is 6 months now and at

times I can't even pick him up and he is crying for me. It just breaks my

heart. I feel like a bad mother, I hurt so bad but from the outside I look fine,

although at times I walk funny, and moan a lot from time to time. My 18 year

old son helps me a lot when I have apt.'s and can't take my baby because it

hurts to much, my 7 year old, now she tries so hard and she is a great help too,

but I feel so bad because she needs to be playing and I need to be playing

with her, but instead I look over at her and she is bouncing the baby up and

down

saying it's OK mommy is right there. Now my 15 year old daughter,

well she is boy crazy and Mom makes her stay home and she just hates being here

and she tells me I am the one who had the baby not her. That is true but piss

me off so much. I have been a signal mother all there lives, and been there for

them and to hear that come from your child's mouth when in turn you need the

help more they seem to forget and not care. I try to tell them that I am

trying to get better so I can go back to work, but right now Mom needs their

help

too. I also feel very lucky to have kids here to help me, because there are

others out there with know one at all to help them. I feel the stress from being

out of work, being behind 3 months on my bills, and the normal problems that

comes with having kids, puts a lot on my back too. Look at me the baby is a

sleep and I am just going on like you all don't have anything to do but to hear

me chat. Well, thank you all for answering my questions. I will ask my dr.for

some more MRI's. As they say we know our bodies better then anyone right!

I would go back to the doc and ask for an MRI of the neck. I get a lot of

pressure and pain from my neck that radiates with burning into my left shoulder

blade and increased headaches. A Cat scan showed bone spurs and a narrowing disc

in the C5/6 area.

I just want to thank you all so much for just being here, it really helps the

pain believe it or not for me, just knowing that I can say how I am feeling

and you can relate instead of looking at me like " oh, your fine just get some

rest and it will all go away. " Yea right there the ones that went away and the

pain is still here. It helps so much knowing that I am not alone, but it also

hurts that so many people out there have to hurts so much and there isn't

always much out there to help. It is a help to me knowing that I am not alone in

this world of pain in our backs ect... But I will keep you all in my prays.

vicki, we can relate to how you feel people out here not only have children

but have grandchildren as there own as i do and belive me when my grand son

and youngest grand daughter ask why i can't even push her on her push toy

yeah that is heart felt not to mention heart breaking . so yeah we can

absolutly relate to what your going through. and yes it is breath taking to

hear your teen say i didn't have the child it cuts soooo deep. thus is why

we often ask why did this have to happen to me.!. i can't speak for all but

i know some of us out here wonder that very thing alot. its just not fair.

and i don't care if they do say life isn't fair this pain is not fair. well

just a note to say hi and yes were right there with you sharing your heart

ach and pain well spiritualy anyway.....and tell your fam. we understand

them as well it is tough for all concerned, god bless....Larry
