Another reason to start Xolair?

Today I had a severe reaction to my allergy shots - itching all over

and feeling faint. The nurse checked my blood pressure and it was down

to 70/50 - scary. So I did the Benadryl/Claritin/lie down/drink lots of

water routine and eventually felt better and went home. But I feel like

I've been run over by a truck, really wiped out.

I'll be starting Xolair on Tuesday - hopefully it will not only allow

me to back off the steroids but also prevent future reactions to

allergy shots like I had today. That was no fun AT all.
