Guest guest Posted August 5, 2006 Report Posted August 5, 2006 This question is for yourself and everyone who has chosen not to take tx. If a biopsy is needed to see the condition of your liver, how often should it be done? Is it possible for your liver to advance it's stage rapidly without you having symptoms or not? If it is, it would seem like you would need a biopsy frequently if you can't go by symptoms or blood tests. Barbara > as a person with a bulging disc I can tell you now..get away from the doctors and head to the chiropractor...what a difference in your life you will make! Mine paralyzed me for five years and doctors said " deal with it " the chiropractor said " do what I tell you to do and you will be fine... " which I am. As for the hep c....the treatment is a nightmare. It works on so few people. The doctors use you as test subjects. We have tried it all....and I mean all. Personally, you will have to choose for yourself, but my husband and I decided quality of life was worth more than gold and with the treatment it took a year from his life, because he spent it in bed in agony. He is still unable to work but at least he can get out of bed, dirve a car, go to dinner etc. He has totally stopped eating meat, especiially read meat, and takes milk thistle, along with acupuncture and chineese herbs and his enzymes have been stable. The doctors already told him he was terminal, and that the > treatment is experimental and it does not work on everyone...I suppose if we were filthy rich and could buy the special treatment the stars get we too would be hep c free...but like most we are just scraping by... > > > > > > --------------------------------- > > From: " barbarac102 " <barbarac102@...> > Reply- > > Subject: [ ] NEED ADVISE > Date: Fri, 04 Aug 2006 00:05:48 -0000 > >Hi everyone, > >I just got back from the doctors.
