Guest guest
I never heard of this product. I am getting really disgusted with the fact that the doctors use us for guinnea pigs, and " try " different drugs and different doses to " see how we do. " Roni Standard Process Thytrophin PMG I found the following on another site and asked permission to re-post. Does anyone know about this product? P at I have had an underactive thyroid brought to normal using the Standard Process Thytrophin PMG product, and confirmed by medical tests. My MD was very surprised - he had wanted to put me on synthroid. Why would one want to cause the thyroid to turn off, which I personally believe may happen with synthroid (once you're on it, it's forever) when one can give the thyroid a broad range support product such as Thytrophin PMG? It certainly worked for me, and sure surprised the MD. Guest guest
I think this person is a little confused. I take Standard Process thytropin PMG, and also Armour 240mg, and also Iodoral 50mg! Thytropin isn't a substitue for meds. Iodine can sometimes be. Gracia I am offended by the post that that person wrote. Ah, and alas don't have the energy to explain now. Guest guest
Standard Process is an old well respected company. Almost all holistic docs and naturopaths use these products. My holistic vet has them too! I personally use Drenamin, thytrophin, and pituitrophin from Standard Process, and it's expensive. I tried not using them, but I missed them, so I keep taking them. Gracia I never heard of this product. I am getting really disgusted with the fact that the doctors use us for guinnea pigs, and " try " different drugs and different doses to " see how we do. Guest guest
I assume it is well respected because it uses standardized dosing. hence the name standard process? Guest guest
Chuck- Yeah, that is why I was upset by the post.? As if I or anyone else would?CHOOSE to " shut?our thyroids off " . We just have actual thyroid problems?that need more than " hamburger " as said :-)?The post?had a passive aggressive, " I'm beating the system and you are all dumb for choosing to shut your thyroid glands down " kind of tone.? I don't mean this towards?the person who re-posted it here, but to who originally posted the comment.? They need a dose of reality.? If I were to take only that stuff it would literally kill me. (And the millions of other people with hypoT). Guest guest
Some of us like myself have no thyroid. It was removed while in the Army due to cancer. So I take my medicine and shop for the best doctor I can find. I do however try to eat healthy and walk for exercise. I do the best I can. Best wishes for every one else.-lenosan Re: Standard Process Thytrophin PMG planeproductions wrote: > > > I found the following on another site and asked permission to re-post. > Does anyone know about this product? > P This is a scam. Guest guest
Gracia- I have used the drenamin myself and have no objections to that let alone the whole standard process company. However, I also tried to thytrophin PMG and it made me feel like total crap. Also, to the person who brought this topic up, no one is upset at you! We are just responding to the original post, sorry if you feel ganged up on!
