Guest guest
Gracia, I believe it was you who knew how to obtain Armour without a doctor's note. I am so desperate right now. I don't know if you remember, but I'm currently pregnant and my endocrinologist has decided my TSH needs to be over 1, so he keeps cutting my Armour. I went to another endocrinologist, I paid myself for (as he is out of my insurance area) and had absolutely no luck. He changed me from Armour back to Synthroid with no T3 (and I explained to him I had trouble converting, as I have tried Sythroid alone before and felt terrible). I also did not like changing to something completely different during pregnancy. I am so upset right now. He also accused me of not caring about the baby. Is that something docs pull out of their hat? Want to make a pregnant woman shut up? - Accuse her of not thinking/caring enough about her baby! If you have any information on reliable sources of Armour, I would be extremely, extremely relieved and happy. My email is anadonalaniz@... Thanks for any info you could offer,
Guest guest
Venezia, what did your package insert say about side effects? A week is a little too early to quit on it, isn't it. Most " side effects " go away as our bodies adjust to our meds... so perhaps if it is the thyroid med, it will calm down in a short while. Hopefully, it isn't the med and you'll be rid of this soon. Maybe your pharmacist can advise you and if it is the med you can step down a small dose and work back up gradually. Dusty Re: getting armour Hey Gracia......want to send a few my way!! JUST KIDDING! That is not encouraging that you have heard that about Naturethroid because I do not know what else to take. I have to be careful because of my sulfite sensitivity so that limits me. Armour has Dextrose which is made from corn which is sulfited SOOOO I thought maybe that's why I started having trouble with symptoms on Armour. This is not good. I am sure that increased demand is part of it. I also could not get the 3 grains of Naturethroid. I had to get 65mg and take 1 1/2 pills twice a day to get the 3 grains daily. This could become a real problem. Guest guest
Hi Dusty, I did not get an insert. It was just the bottle. That is a good idea to keep taking it for awhile longer though. My body could be trying to adjust. Thanks for the advice! Venizia -- In hypothyroidism , " Dusty " <dusty@...> wrote: > > Venezia, what did your package insert say about side effects?
