Guest guest Posted October 21, 2006 Report Share Posted October 21, 2006 I caught a cold a few weeks ago and have had a mild lingering cough for several weeks now. I believe I had pertussis/whooping cough about eight years ago--is it possible this cough is " retracing " the whooping cough? Also, if retracing happens, does it tend to happen in reverse chronological order? I haven't had anything that appeared to be retracing before this.
