ALso, we like to know about your labwork. Which tests and the ranges. Also, how are you doing on your med's? What and how much do you take? Feel free to post any questions! Crystal -- New- Hashimoto's Thyroiditis Hi, I wanted to introduce myself. I have been suffering from Hashimoto's Thyroiditis since I was 15. I am now 27. I also was recently diagnosed with Crohn's Disease this year. It has always been somewhat of a struggle for me, however, now I have my levels finally to the right place, but now I am dealing with some anemia issues from the crohn's disease. So I am still tired. I also have a nonactive pituitary adenoma. Well I just wanted to introduce myself and tell you my story.

Guest guest
hi Standard thyroid treatment in US is very poor. Maybe you are undertreated and on the wrong med as so often happens. For Crohn's and adenoma you will need high dose iodine. http://www.helpmythyroid.com Gracia Hi, I wanted to introduce myself. I have been suffering from Hashimoto's Thyroiditis since I was 15. Guest guest
Gracia, I am attaching this message to yours, because I have tried several times to send it straight through, and keeps coming back with my address is not me. This keeps happening lots of times and I don't know what to do about it. I spoke with my doctor about the fact that I was all stuffed up, and asked him to prescribe an antihistamine with decongestand. I was taking Claritin, but alone. I had previously taken Zyrtec with decongestant, and had no problem. Well he must have mixed up the two in his mind, because he prescribed Claritin-D, which I picked up and took last night. In a few minutes, I couldn't breathe. My entire airway was shutting down. I have had this happen before, so I knew I was reacting to something. Luckily I had benedryl in the house and took that, as well as a double dose of my albuterol. Well, I'm here to tell the story, so you know it worked. Then I went to look on the Claritin box and lo and behold it says it contains Pseudoephedrine Sulfate and not Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride like what is in the Zyrtec. It is clearly documented on the patient information slip that I am allergic to sulfur drugs, and they gave this to me anyway. Of course I am going back to them today and get my money back, but I could have died from this. Guest guest
I have little faith in adrenal testing, but some peeps like to do saliva. you can find info on http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com iodine is just a wonderful thing---antibacterial, antifungal, antiyeast etc which would clear up sinuses. you can get test through http://helpmythyroid.com and get a free consult with Dr. Flechas. Gracia I don't know why they keep switching. Why do you thing I need adrenal meds and iodine? How is the test for that done?
