Guest guest
Hello, My question is especially for Bee, but can also be reply by anybody who has done some study about this. I started to learn about proper nutrition about 6 months ago, starting with " The maker's diet " by Jordan Rubin, then " Nourishing tradition " and an other book about raw milk. I am a learning freak and I wish to deepen my understanding of the human body and nutrition. Now my issue is that I dont know what to read next. I've been scanning this site like crazy and I learned a lot. I especially liked Bee's article abou the immune system and I can tell that you did your homework. Now my question is there a good book out there that will explain the functioning of the immune system and maybe also the whole body/digestive system. I need to learn more about this, but there seem to be a lot of wrong information in the medical community about this and would like to avoid it as much as possible. Thank you
Guest guest
The best alternative book I have read on the immune system is " East- West Medicene " and the publisher was the same that published the magazine, " East/West Medicene " . It has been about 10 years since I read that book and I am unable to locate it right now but I am sure the title I provided is close to the actual title. I do not remember the authors name. I've had to dig for correct information too, and it is very frustrating because there is a lot of misinformation and conflicting information. I wish I could recommend a good book but I can't. Sorry. It is pretty much a text book on anatomy and since there is not that much confusion about the basics of the human body I figured it would be save. I am quite exciting about it because it doesnt simplify things too much, but seems really easy to follow.
