Isn't that awful?! I feel like it started my whole downward spiral. By the time I got to college, me and my digestive system were completely a mess--gas, extreme bloating, depression, fatigue, eating disorders, the list goes on. Then I was vegan for several years thinking I would get healthy--big mistake!! I only got worse--severly underweight, stomach pain, depression, hair loss, anemia, cessation of menstruation (for a whole year!), hypoglycemia, the list goes on. I started Bee's diet in November and it has all been uphill since then!! I got my period back, no more bloating, no more anemia, no more bloating, no more gas, and a healthy appetite so I can maintain a healthy weight. This all happened in only 3 months!!! I still have more progress to go, but when I say I gained weight, you must understand that I was VERY skinney, so much so, that I had to shop in the little girls department. Now I am a thin woman with curves!! The weight that I've gained is toned and firm--not flabby. On Bee's diet your weight will noramlize as you become healthy. If you give your body the healthy foods that it needs, it will heal normalize all bodily functions. Health should not be judged by weight (even though it is a lot of the time), but everything overall. I think the key to a healthy body is a healthy mind. I am a true believer in this diet and it has helped me develop a healthy relationship with food and heal my mind, which has been a huge problem since my teens.
