Surely I should do, as when the candida is being fed, shouldn't I get the candida symptom of gas? ==>Not necessarily do you get as much gas from feeding candida as you do from killing it off. If it is too uncomfortable back off on the coconut oil some, allowing the diet to kill off candida, and gradually increase your coconut oil over a longer period of time. I hope that helps, Bee Quote
Guest guest Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 I get foul smelling gas when I eat eggs too, especially raw eggs. This is because eggs contain a lot of sulpher, which is great for killing candida, not so great for gas. Guest guest Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 Hello, Yes, I thought maybe the raw eggs could be causing some gas. I had 3 raw yolks & one white in the morning, and by evening the gas was terrible. Have other people had this, and does your body eventually stop producing bad smelling gas in response to raw eggs? Thanks x Quote
Guest guest Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 I don't have the raw eggs very often, but so far it hasn't gone away. I bet it would eventually go away after a while. Maybe have eggs every other day or so, or a few times a week. You can do great on meats, coconut oil, veggies, etc. Eggs are great though and very cheap, but the gas sucks. If only I could use it for my car.. Yes eggs do contain sulpher which is not only a macromineral required by the body in amounts over 200 mg per day, but also because it kills candida. Candida puts out carbon dioxide (gas) when it is being killed off, along with other toxins and gases as well. ==>I usually eat 4 raw eggs and 2 boiled eggs per day and I do not get gas, but I do not have candida either, so this too shall pass. Guest guest Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 Wow, this makes me feel better I crave eggs but worry about eating too many. I normally eat two to three a day raw/soft boiled but could easily eat more, they are just such an easy portable snack, meal, whatever _________________________________________________________________ Find a local pizza place, music store, museum and moreā¦then map the best route! http://local.live.com?FORM=MGA001 Quote
Guest guest Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 Hi Bee, How did you know when you no longer had Candida overgrowth? Were you re-tested or was it based on your symptoms? My husband asks me this often too and i didn't know. I had symptoms for many years and then it was confirmed months ago with strongly positive candida via IgG blood test. I know your files contain info about inaccuracy of IgG/IgE tests, but it did confirm candida. I was told i should be Re-tested after 1 yr to check progress but don't know if i should now after reading your files. Also, how can we tell the difference in a " healing reaction " versus a true allergy reaction symptom? By the way, the first coconut oil i tried was Nutiva and Love it! Sometimes i sprinkle tiny bit of stevia on it. Yumm Thanks! Guest guest Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 What a hoot of a topic - passing gas! ('Cause everyone knows we gals do not " toot " , lol) Anyway, I have the raw egg drink most mornings and do not notice that it causes gas. However, having said that, I do have trouble with " wind " now and then - on occasion it can verge on embarrassing (though no odor thanks be) - and darned if I can figure out what causes it. Maybe some days we get more die off than others? Penny Have other people had this, and does your body eventually stop producing bad smelling gas in response to raw eggs? Thanks x Quote
Guest guest Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 > > Hi Bee, How did you know when you no longer had Candida overgrowth? Were you re-tested or was it based on your symptoms? ==>Hi Leah. I didn't have any laboratory test to confirm I had candida, nor to confirm I was cured. I wasn't absolutely sure as to when I was cured so I was cautious about having some foods. I believe I was off sugars for about 4 years after the time I feel I was cured, which was 2 1/2 years. But the occasional sugars, alcohol, etc. even during that time didn't bother me, so that was a good sign. I even got quite tanked up on my 50th birthday, but didn't even have the decency to have a hangover (which my daughter was quite put out about). ==>However I didn't go back to the way I was eating before. When my vaginal yeast infection cleared after having it 25 years I felt it meant I was cured of candida. Since then I've learned that my body had other things that required natural healing, which I've been working on since I changed my diet in 2003 to higher nature-made fats, less carbs, etc. I am going to stay on it as long as it takes to heal completely. >My husband asks me this often too and i didn't know. I had symptoms for many years and then it was confirmed months ago with strongly positive candida via IgG blood test. I know your files contain info about inaccuracy of IgG/IgE tests, but it did confirm candida. ==>That's good it confirmed your clinical symptoms, but often such tests do not, therefore misleading people into thinking they do not have candida when they do. >I was told i should be Re-tested after 1 yr to check progress but don't know if i should now after reading your files. ==>I feel it is better to go by how you feel. For most people nowadays they've had candida since birth and the incidence raises drastically every year our societies buy into the medical, drug, food, agricultural, governments and other big industry deceptions and lies. Did you know that every person who has cancer has candida, yet every person who has candida does not have cancer, yet. Cancer has also " accidently " diminished when they've put cancer patients on antifungal medicines. To bad they don't understand how important nutrition is, and that even antifungals alone don't work. > > Also, how can we tell the difference in a " healing reaction " versus a true allergy reaction symptom? ==>I do not believe you become allergic to good unadulterated nature- made foods like I recommend because your body only has true allergies to toxins. The reason is because healing reactions are exactly the same as list of symptoms as allergic reactions, but the body only has one way to respond to toxins or to good healing foods it needs to start healing itself. So this whole subject is very misunderstood. Many people even avoid good healing foods because of this so they also avoid the healing possibilities of those foods. See articles in the Allergies Folder. ==>Also antibody tests are so very inaccurate, often using antigens made from foods loaded with pesticides or solvents used to sterilize or clean them. The fact is that the entire antibody theory is loaded with holes, and doesn't hold up to the light of truth. To learn more please read articles in the Germ Theory & Antibody Theories Are False Folders in our files. > > By the way, the first coconut oil i tried was Nutiva and Love it! > Sometimes i sprinkle tiny bit of stevia on it. Guest guest Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 Hi , Thankfully the answer to this is yes. I got REALLY bad gas in the beginning from the egg drink but was informed by Bee that this was die-off so I persevered and it did subside after about 6 weeks. There are many great foods that also kill off candida, i.e. the entire cabbage and onion family, as well as eggs and other foods that contain sulphur. That's why the diet is so effective and you do not want to start serious antifungals until you been on it awhile. Cheers, Bee Quote
Guest guest Posted October 23, 2006 Report Posted October 23, 2006 Well this certainly makes me feel better about my broccoli and brussel sprout addition, it is medically nessesary, lol > > > > I get gas from onions, could this be die off as well, or does it only > work that way with eggs. > > ==>Hi . Cheers, Bee ***wow that explains a lot. i have been eating cabbage for the past week. I guess i can add that to my cleansing reactions list. It's funnt that when we had the cabbage, my husband said oh i cant eat to much of that i get gassy and dont want that to happen. That is actually a good thing and we suppress it. wow...sue __________________________________________________ Quote
