While contractor doing a bit more gutting out of downstairs, I discovered to my horror, insulation in the walls behind the shower, full of black mold, and what looked like either bat or bird " mess " . I backed out as fast as possible, made it up stairs to my asthma treatment, finished it before the full blown effects of anaphylactic reaction came on. Had ataxia, vertigo, and very close to black out....113/60 BP, pulse 53. Waited it out for few hours, and fully recovered....No after effects!!! This would have been it for me.....or at least my brain. The last time I blacked out from similar incident, hit head so hard had concussion and brain injury. I attribute this success to have been on the Candida diet. Far from strict, but enough to save my ass yesterday. This being a second exposure, should have been the end of me. This is huge!! Now get this!!!!! There had been No water leak!!! The seller of house placed this disgusting insulation, probably found at the dump, or by curb, back in the wall space. It was completely different from all other. No evidence to studs of any water leak/damage. Another....get this! The electric to the entire downstairs, was brought in on 1-14 gauge electric wire...for the entire downstairs! If the allergy from downstairs had not kept me from using that part of house, it would have caught on fire surely. The remodel guy couldn't believe his eyes. The electric wires hidden above, laying on the insulation looked like a bowl of spaghetti, all eventually going to one wire in middle wall, middle of downstairs! Talk about Angels watching over me...again! I just can't believe I survived all of that evil mans tricks. He had his abandoned, and eventually ex-wife living at this house. That's totally impressive you didn't expire because you've been on the candida diet!!! Very very well done! It is disgusting what happened in your house with the electrical, insulation, etc. The Good Lord is really looking after you my friend. You are so very fortunate!
