Guest guest
Good point. Yesterday was the first magic day, no symptoms of die off; candida; phenol intolerance; enzyme adjustment; or food sensitivity. I swear I feel like a new person with new found motivation here. The final thing that I pulled yesterday was whole wheat bread (which was so STUPID because I didn't realize it had 3 g. of sugar) and peanut butter. Today will be carbon copy of yesterday except with the peanut butter, which I just really hope for her is legal. But am going to get a lot more stability going before I try to add eggs back in. Thanks! Kari To Kari As you commented before, everyone is different. Personally, I would think a month isn't long enough. It also depends on how strong your daughter's immune system is right now. Guest guest
Nothing feels better than feeling better, right? Er - I don't want to rain on your already soggy parade, but there is supposed to be a lot of mould on peanuts. But hey, you are really in a difficult position right now and perhaps zero yeast/mold/sugar/whatever isn't attainable at the moment. As long as your daughter is feeling improved and you're feeling some relief, slow and steady with a 95%-perfect diet is maybe the way to go right now. Any progress is better than none, wouldn't you say? To Kari > > > As you commented before, everyone is different. Personally, I would think a > month isn't long enough. Guest guest
I know. Am really keeping my fingers crossed. Having knowledge though is way more important, because we all know it is emotionally draining to be fighting some ghost you just can't seem to get your arms around. But good news is we are finally at the point where I can actually test things out. And this has been a grueling 4 weeks to get to this point. If meltdown occurs at bed time, I will know it was the peanut butter. Kari Re: To Kari Nothing feels better than feeling better, right? Guest guest
I use sunflower seed spread - good idea for those with reaction to nuts which I no longer have thankfully - except macadema nuts, tried them other day and was I ill!!! Jane Re: To Kari Hi Kari, Peanut butter is actually really bad for you because of a mold that grows on peanuts(aflatoxin), even the natural kind of peanut butter. I found an even better substitute at my local healthfood store. Almond and cashew butter *yum* My BF prefers the cashew butter, I prefer the almond butter. *8-) __________________________________
