I've had it for 6 years now but only in my right leg. It doesn't feel like

a leg cramp, it's more of a pain in the bone...it aches so bad that it keeps

me awake. Sometimes if I wear a sock, it helps perhaps it's a circulation

thing. Since putting my heated blanket on with the cold weather, the pain has

been much less. I guess for me, the trick has been keeping the leg warm and

ciruculation moving. If I walk alot it hurts but normally during the day

it's gone or barely noticeable...it comes alive at night!

My doctors are stumped as they have done an ultra-sound and x-rays and find

nothing wrong.

good wishes,

New member & amp; aching legsHi, I am a new member of this group

and hope I can get some feedback! I have had Candida for the past 12 years. I

recently starting taking collodial sivler and have great hope for it being able

to kill off the Candida. My problem is that I have aching legs most all the

time. The pain is severe at night and not quite as bad during the day, but

extremely uncomfortable. This leg pain has been present for the past year or

two. Is this a symptom of Candida? Has anyone has a similar problem? (my

medical doctor and chiropractor just shrug their shoulders when I describe the

pain to them). And has anyone found any way to relieve the severe pain? Thanks,

Sam Candidiasis

Hi Stomper

If I were you, I'd post this on the " Ask s " forum at

www.curezone.com. He'll tell you what it is and what to do about it.

I had the same problem with my knees. After about a month on the diet, it went

away!

When I get die-off while treating Candida, I get severe leg pains sometimes.

Also neck and shoulder pain.

I also had terrible leg cramps that would keep me awake at night.

After researching it I found that it is often a symptom of a mineral

deficiency -- most likely magnesium and/or potassium. I was later

diagnosed by the doctor with a magnesium deficiency. After taking a

high dose magnesium tablet in the morning and another one at night

along with a calcium/magnesium tablet for a while, the cramps went

away completely. Initially, I also kept some magnesium tablets by the

bed and would take one if I was awoken with leg cramps. That would

cause the cramps to dissipate within 15-20 minutes. I've also heard

that putting a bar of soap under the bed sheets (under your legs) will

help. It sounds odd, and I never tried it, but I found a number of

references to it. I also found that certain foods that are bad for the

candida will tend to cause leg cramps. For example, if I eat sugar or

simple carbs in the evening, I am more likely to get cramps.

Hope this helps,

Alisha

Also recommend a product called RUTOZYM which is excellent for circulation

and also for the heart. It removed all the plack in the system naturally.

Highly recommend it.

Calcium/magnesium with vitamine D can help with leg cramps.

Has the doctor checked your blood pressure and your level of uric acid?

The reason I ask is that high uric acid levels can be related to gout, a type of

rhuematoid (sp?) illness. My father has this and they had to put him on

allopurinol (not sure of sp there either)

This is in no way a diagnosis but it might be another avenue to have a look at

if it hasn't been already.

Cheers

Calcium/magnesium with vitamin D has helped me. Also drinking enough water makes

a difference.
