Guest guest
Hi Helen, That is very interesting. I didn't know mercury could pass through the placenta. I am 23 and only have plastic fillings, but both my parents, who have candida problems as well, have mercury fillings. My dad had his removed 15 years ago, but my mum has about 14 at least that she has had since she was a teenager. I quite closely fit the profile of mercury poisoning as well, but they are quite generic symptoms - can this be easily tested? ita I have just found that all my problems - inculuding the candida problemes, are most likely due to a mercury leakage from old amalgam fillings. It seems that even if you don't have any, it could have passed through the placenta before birth. I am madly having my filllings replaced at the moment to the extent that I can afford them. My symptoms which included overgrowth of candida were an exact match to mercury poisoning. > > More importantly however, I have now read - on a number of other sites - that candida overgrowth and other fungal infection is deliberately cultivated by the body in response to a mercury exposure. Although these cause problems, they consume the mercury and the body considers it more desirable to the deadly mercury effects. > > The most effective way to alleviate this problem is by having ones fillings replaced. However, I have read on a number of sites that the leaves of the corriander plant is the only herb known that will take mercury out of the brain and central nervous system to less dangerous peripheral tissues. Hence a spoon full of corriander (it's called cilantro and chinese parsley in some countries) every day for 3 months is used. A sea algae which we call chlorella (you'll find it on the net) in Australia is also taken because it then takes mercury from the tissues and passes it out of the body through the feces. > > Until that is done however, it is recommended that one does not attempt to eradicate all their candida - as it is serving a protective function. I'm sure people here will look all this up on various internet sites for themselves. > > Please feeel free to ask any questions. > > Helen . >
Guest guest
How do you know if you have leakage? Is their a test you can do? Thanks! I started having extreme mood swings, was crying every day, couldn't concentrate at all at work, had some bad panic attacks, and genuinely thought I'd gone completely crazy. I do want to give it another go, so next time I'll start the aloe juice first. I've put dealing with candida on hold for a while, I've been having very long days and I'm finding it too much to try and adhere to the diet and supplements at the moment. I'm also going overseas soon, which would make it harder again! ita > > > > Take one third of a cup of Aloe Vera juice each day - it takes about > 4 days to feel the difference. Guest guest
Hi Helen I finished having my fillings replaced around a month ago, all 15 of them, I too think it could be linked to or at least contributing factor to my candida, it has been a lot better lately and I don't think it is any coincidence as I haven't been sticking the diet strictly for a while. Let me know how you get on. As for chelation you need to have all your fillings replaced PRIOR to chelation - I have joined adult chelation group you might want to if you haven't already or see this site http://www.noamalgam.com Andy Cutler seems quite an expert on this. I plan to use ALA (Alpha Lipoic Acid) in about a month or so, but am seeing my dentist again first so see what he suggests. Regards Jane 2a. Guest guest
Hi Alison I didn't have a test, as I've had ME and Candida for 10 years and tried all kinds of things, I have the classic symptoms of mercury poisoning, I did have a mineral hair test and it did show fairly hair levels of mercury and from my research I knew that mercury is a poison and it shouldn't be there and so even if it was just for peace of mind it would be worth it, as it happens it has done more and I have improved but still a long way to go, after years of poisoning it will take time to get well. I am glad to get rid of the metallic taste and my husband will have his done soon too, when we can afford it as the dentist said he would make me ill as mercury passes through saliva. I would buy a book on it Cutler book Amalgam Illness available through http://www.noamalgam.com is worth a read but there are many other books on the subject, get as much info as you can as it's not something to rush into. If you want to have a test all that info is in Andy's book Regards Jane
