new to group... need help

Hi - Sorry that you've been feeling so lousy.

About the above question, I'm afraid that I can't answer that one. But

cynic that I am, I betcha employers only recognize " real " doctors. Anyway,

just phone and ask the ND's office. And good luck.

I moved into a house which i'm 99% sure has

> toxic mould (there are mushrooms growing in thebasement) started

, this struck a real chord with me. A few years ago, my body was in

such rough shape that I'd feel wretched for days if I got my nose too close

to the soil in my houseplants. Once, I stripped some wallpaper off my

bedroom and then took my time putting new stuff back up (because I suddenly

got sick as hell). Weeks later, not being able to get out of bed, the light

bulb went on. It was mold underneath the old wallpaper. And you couldn't

even smell it.

If your immune system is struggling, mold can wreak havoc. Do whatever

you can to distance yourself from the stuff. Can the problem be fixed? If

not, I would seriously consider finding somewhere else to live.

> secondly, is that really necessary to detox and deal with it.

Yes, if you want to feel better. And remember that you didn't get sick

overnight so please don't think that you are going to get well in a hurry.

Improved health will likely be accomplished in baby steps - and a few steps

backward now and then.

But the good news is that it can be done. Make a plan to get well. Listen

to your Naturopath but steer your own ship. You must take charge of your

own health and " listen to your body " as they say around here.

But most of all, start doing some online research. I'd go to the archives

here. And also www.curezone.com. There are a lot of caring people there

with a lot of good advice and support.

And give yourself time. Changing one's diet is a big step, and a hard one,

but you will start to feel better by increments.

Best wishes on your journey to health - p

Hi

Have you done the spit test? You can try this simple

test to see if you have candida: First thing in the

morning, before you put ANYTHING in your mouth, get a

clear glass. Fill with water and work up a bit of

saliva, then spit it into the glass of water. Check

the water every 15 minutes or so for up to one hour.

If you have a problem, you will see strings (like

legs) travelling down into the water from the saliva

floating on the top, or " cloudy " saliva will sink to

the bottom of the glass, or cloudy specks will seem to

be suspended in the water. If there are no strings and

the saliva is still floating after at least one hour,

you probably have candida under control.

Hello, I'll try to make this brief. I am 33 male.

Never really been

sick until last year. I moved into a house which i'm

99% sure has

toxic mould (there are mushrooms growing in

thebasement) started

getting daily headaches, earaches, feeling crappy -

went to WALK IN

CLINICS, they gave me many possible reasons (none I

bought) had some

sort of seizure, went to emerg and they said i had

smoked some bad

pot. The symptoms kept getting worse and am referred

to a neurologist

who finds a venous malformation behind my left eye and

a sub

arrachnoid cyst (Benign) in the back of my brain - i

get

hospitalizedbecause of the results as a precaution and

turns out i

have double pneumonia and spend three weeks in the

hospital whit MANY

tests but no answers. They put me on these drugs which

made me gain

weight, and tired all the time. A year later it seems

to be starting

all over. Frustrated, i've gone to a naturopathic dr.

and she seem to

belive it is a case of chronic system candidiasis and

says i'm also

suffeing from extreme burnout. My question is 1- in

Canada, is a ND

qualified in the eyes of the government to take

someone off work, snd

secondly, is that really necessary to detox and deal

with it.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

I have successfully used an ozone generator to destroy the moulds in my

basement. Also, Precious Prill water (Twilight America) misted out from a

humidifier is reported to destroy mould.

Same as we just discussed - alkalize, hydrate, oxygenate - but first of all:

cleanse.

Ask your employer... if they will recognize it. And yes, it is really

necessary to detox. You're full of stuff that you need to get rid of, and

then your body can heal itself.
