Guest guest
Hi all I thought I would share something with you that I have just discovered. Purely by chance, I discovered a natural product called Mastic Gum, which helps to kill off candida, H Pylori, the bacteria that cause ulcers and other bad bacteria. It also does no harm to the beneficial bacteria. I am going to add it to my rotation of anti-fungals, as I think it will help a lot. Hope this helps. Keen Re: Re: Re: Bee Wilder's Program / Excellent Greetings All Good movement here!!! I would like to suggest that this thread be turned into...What works to regain health and thus get the Candida back in balance. We have had many many thoughts here...anyone what to start the ball rolling? Marla <busykitchen@...> wrote: Hello, I'm new here, and have been following Bee's program for a couple of weeks. So I see here that one criticism is that she doesn't include inulin in her program. May I ask what the other criticisms are? I'd like to know both sides. You can point me to other threads if need be. Thanks! Guest guest
I looked up Mastic on PubMed and found that it doesn't work well as an antibiotic in this research from 2003. QUOTE: " ...mastic and thyme extracts exerted hardly any microbicidal activity, while grape kernel extract and evodia were still effective at 2- to 6-fold dilutions below the MIC of the solvent. ....C. albicans was only susceptible to evodia. " PMID: 12872531 See also the 2003 study titled Monotherapy with mastic does not eradicate Helicobacter pylori infection from mice. PMID: 12562704 Previous test tube studies had shown bacterial kill, but as is often the case this does not mean it works in a real environment. If anyone wants to verify a particular antibiotic just use the search box on PubMed: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?CMD=search & DB=pubmed The search I used in this case was (mastic antibiotic) Duncan > > > Hi all > > I thought I would share something with you that I have just discovered. > Purely by chance, I discovered a natural product called Mastic Gum, > which helps to kill off candida, H Pylori, the bacteria that cause > ulcers and other bad bacteria.
