Guest guest
Thanks, I'm already doing colon and parasite cleanse and once the parasite cleanse is done with I will go back to the liver flush. I have the book and have done 2 already. Just got a diagnosis of a nodule on my thyroid so I'll see if maybe that's affecting this as well. I don't eat dairy and haven't for approx. 6 months now since I've been following the candida diet. I eat no grains, no simple carbs or very many complex. Mostly eat veggies and lean meats. I drink nothing but water and water with lemon as well as caffeine free herbal teas. Never was a caffeine person anyways. I've cut out sugar and artificial sweetners. Pretty basic diet and I supplement with a vitamine with trace minerals to help with anything that's missing in my diet. The leaky gut symptoms have begun to subside but I just went through a " yeast beast " flare up and have had some die off symptoms. Guest guest
Sounds like you have trouble with nightshades. Tomatos, potatos, peppers, eggplant, etc are all part of the nightshade family and are known to cause problems for a lot of people. Elimination diet is a very good idea but honestly, I still feel like I didn't get the whole picture when I did it and I feel like I still might be eatin some foods that maybe I shouldn't be. That's why I am looking forward to trying that allergy muscle testing. Eating the same food too often in a row is due to enzyme depletion.. nobody should be eating the same things too often *8-) > Sue, > > I get clogged sinuses from anything, recently it's > been tomato, peppers, banana, > chocolate, caffeine, potato. Guest guest
Hi , Oh yeah, I forgot about the eggplant, bad for me too. I also have / have had grains (wheat, oat, etc), corn, potato, chocolate, caffeine, sugar, hydrogenated oils, brewer's/baker's yeast, pork, peanuts, cashews, other nuts, food additives and preservatives, bananas, mangos, ... In the end there is no pattern other than anything I eat too often turns into an allergy (well in fact it's an intolerance or sensitivity, because true allergies cause a specific immune reaction and they are for a life-time). I didn't think about the enzyme depletion, but it makes sense. I also think the allergic reactions are related to leaky gut: because excessive amount of the food cannot be digested (re the enzymes, etc), the undigested particles leak into the body, which causes an allergic response to be created. The muscle testing really works, but it only indicates what your body can tolerate *at that particular moment*. So you may be ok with a particular food in the morning, but you should test it again if you will eat it again at night, for example. In that sense it can be irritating, because you have to test every time. For a few days, try to test anything that you put in your mouth, even if you think it's OK. Perhaps even toothpaste, supplements, or drinks may be causing your reaction. One more thing: with me, white flour was OK but whole flour was not, for a while, and even different brands gave different results (brominated flours were bad). Now it's the reverse: whole flours are ok with me, whereas the white flours cause candida flare-ups. So you really have to be quite thorough and test everything, and test continuously if you're still having reactions. Good luck! I don't remember if you said whether you had done a liver cleanse yet? I'm still in the preparation phase: trying to gather all the supplements, make out an eating plan for the week, trying to find a colon cleanse here in Netherlands (now that's been a challenge).
