Oooh, I am so glad you asked about this. I keep forgetting to ask if anyone

has info about candida and asthma medication. The allergist has me on two

different inhalers, one is a steroid, as well as a steroid nasal spray. I

don't like the idea of the steroids at all, but my asthma makes me cough

like a tubercular old man. Just one more way not to be pretty ;) Also, while

I am beginning the candida diet today, I am assuming that it will take some

time before I am feeling less symptoms and the coughing has been really bad

with all of this rain. Any advice out there? Thanks,

NAET allergy elimination.

has anyone had any experience with this? i know that i have to

treat the underlying factors of my allergies (sucky immune

response), but at the same time i would like to treat the symptoms.

i went to an acupuncturist that practices this today, and she seemed

to be a HELL of alot better tha!n my conventional allergist, who

seems to want to give me a lot of sprays and such (both for my nose

and for my carpet!) and doesn't seem too interested in why i'm

allergic to everything.

any stories and opinions appreciated

Regarding allergies, was wondering for those of you out there that have been successful with getting the candida under control, did you happen to see a decrease in your pollen allergy reaction? Could be wrong, but just somehow feel like this monster inside is really more the root cause to a lot of stuff like allergies; chemical sensitivity; overly sensitive; learning disabilities etc.

Thanks,

Kari

I’d agree with that. I actually

stumbled across candida as a possible cause for my

symptoms when reading a book on allergies – it had a whole chapter on candida and how it can cause allergic reactions by

increasing the body’s sensitivity. I was never allergic to anything

before about 2-3 years ago.. now I’m sensitive

to lots of stuff I’m still figuring out, but I figure if I can beat the candida I should get rid of most if not all and go back to

how I used to be

i have had a similar experience, michelle. i didn't start becoming

sensitive to things until about three and a half years ago... after

a good amount of antibiotics built up in my system!
