Guest guest Posted April 19, 2004 Report Posted April 19, 2004 Hi Folks So my question for you is are you feeling better after doing these flushes and do you continue to feel better months later? Kathy -- Re: Third Liver Flush Good going Sherry! It is rewarding to see real results!@ I know that my last flush gave me a really good mix of stone sizes. Now that I am taking the Gold Coin Grass though, I expect my next flush to release more sludge than stones since it crushes them in the liver and gb...should be interesting. Deborah Quote

Hi Kathy, Yes, I definitely am!. I had been following a low-carb diet and had used natural anti-fungals and, after I got through the die-off symptoms, I did feel better. But it was still short of what I should have felt like. And I had my good days and bad days. When some of the folks on this list started talking about the liver flush and that they were feeling worlds better, eating foods they couldn't before and not having to take antifungals, I decided to try it. I had hesitated because it sounded so " off the wall. " Well, I'm glad I did. I was taking a bunch of supplements -- besides the antifungals -- just to maintain status quo. Now I'm off them COMPLETELY!! YAY!!! For a day or so after each liver flush, I feel sort of grungy, with a dull ache in my lower back and general, mild flu like symptoms. Nothing real bad. But after I do a colon flush with a colema board, I feel on top of the world!! The colon flush appears to get rid of any stones that are remaining behind in the colon and releasing their toxins into the body. Yuck! I've been doing the flushes about once a month and feeling just fine between them. Recently I had some awful things happen in my life and I didn't do the flush for almost two months. That, plus the extreme stress of those happenings had me feeling tired and below par again. I'll let you know how I feel in a few days. Sherry (from Oregon) Quote
Guest guest Posted April 19, 2004 Report Posted April 19, 2004 > Also wanting to do a juice cleanse..where I just juice. I read 21 days is good. I think it will be difficult at first but hoping I can stay committed. Anyone do a juice cleanse??? > > Anyway, I feel your excitement Sherry. > > Create a magical evening, > gigi > > Hi Gigi, I've done quite a bit of fasting. I've done a number of juice fasts of 10 days. I would urge caution about doing a long fast without supervision or help from someone experienced. On longer fasts, greater than 12 days or more the body will start to release toxins such as heavy metals and radioactive elements from the liver. Once in the blood stream they can settle in other places in the body such as the bones and start the growth of cancers. 12 to 18 days is what I have read. For this reason I never go more than 10 days on a fast. When I was talking with a German nutritional theripist one time in a chat room he told me that you can get these things out of the blood stream by using spirulina and other stuff. I don't know what the protocols would be. I'm not sure I would trust in them anyways. The first few days of a fast can be difficult. After the fourth day or so the hunger abates and you start to feel clearer. It's usually urged for anyone undertaking a fast to use some form of bowel irrigation on a daily basis. The body is releasing a lot of toxins and most of them end up in the bowel so its good to have an enema or colonic every day. One other caution is that prolonged fasting can be detrimental to the bowel bacteria. I think juice fasts are better in this regard than just fasting on water because the bacteria would get some food. Regards, Bruce Quote

Thanks Kathy H Hi Kathy, The die-off symptoms I was experiencing were from the antifungals. I haven't been taking those lately but instead doing the liver flush. I don't know that I'd call what I experience with the liver flush " die-off. " It is a reaction of the body to the release of toxins, just not to the dying of candida. The symptoms from the liver flush are so mild that they don't stop me from functioning. And I remain alert. I just wouldn't want to do aerobic exercise for a day or so. Everyone is different so I wouldn't want to promise you will have the same mild reaction, but it seems to be common from what I've gleaned of others' stories. If you do the flush over the weekend then you have time to pamper yourself some. Sherry (from Oregon) Quote

How can I do liver flush with apple juice? Hi Suleyman, I've been using just plain old Tree Top apple juice. Doesn't matter, doesn't have to be organic, just so long as it's 100% apple juice. The malic acid in it softens the stones so they don't cause pain and come out easier. The juice also relaxes the bile ducts, if I remember. If you're interested in the liver flush, your best bet is to get s Moritz's " The Amazing Liver Cleanse. " You can download an ebook for less than 7 bucks at Authorhouse. Used to be 1stBooks. Guest guest Posted April 20, 2004 Report Posted April 20, 2004 Gigi, My mom did a month long juice fast/cleanse for her cancer. she got totally cleaned out. I remember here telling me that she even got tons of yeast out, roots and all. If you can commit to it, and don't mind the weight loss, it will clean you out! Hanida Quote
Guest guest Posted April 20, 2004 Report Posted April 20, 2004 Hey Sherry Congratulations on your Flush, that is very exciting! I was wondering because I am anticipating doing this once I get back my lab results from my NP he wants me to wait then I am going to try. My question is how does the apple juice affect you with Candida you know the high sugar content. It sounds as if it didnt have an effect? I just wanted to clarify -- it's the Epsom salts that relax the bile ducts, not the apple juice. Therefore the flush works even without the apple juice. Thank you, . And you're absolutely right -- the epsom salts are the big guns for relaxing the bile ducts but s mentions that the fermenting effect of the apple juice also widens the ducts. Guest guest Posted April 20, 2004 Report Posted April 20, 2004 Dear Sherry, Can you believe yesterday I went to the opposite side of the Milan, it was pouring down, heavy traffic, the post-flush symptoms were bothering me, I've asked my boss Jay to leave the office earlier to have it done and so on and on but I knew in my heart of hearts that I had to do it, no way, it's too important really....I know sometimes it's more than hard but it worth the pain, absolutely! My second produced 250 in total, 40 out of 250 as big as thumbnail, some of the pea-sized were tanned. It was just astounding. Almost 100 (some of them very big) came out during the colonic after the flush yesterday. I thought just a few small got trapped...I was shocked by the result of the colonic! Your post comes at a good time for me, Simona. I did the liver flush yesterday and today I need to do the colon flush. I tend to want to put it off for a few days or even try going without it because I don't want to bother setting up, going through it, putting everything away, etc. Lazy, lazy, lazy!! LOL I haven't let myself sluff off yet but any time now I could. Your reminder of the very positive aspects of the follow-up colon flush has spurred me on to drag the stuff out and do it. ) Thanks. Guest guest Posted April 20, 2004 Report Posted April 20, 2004 To Sheree and Kathy who wonder about taking apple juice when one is suffering with candida. Personally it doesn't seem to negatively affect me, at least during the six days I drink it. Any negative symptoms seem to be minor but I wouldn't want to take in that much sugar regularly. There are alternatives for those who can't drink fruit juice -- Gold Coin Grass for one. Your best bet is to download the ebook " The Amazing Liver Cleanse " by s Mortiz. All the necessary info is in there. You can get it for less than 7 bucks at www.authorhouse.com. Hope this helps. Sherry (from Oregon) Quote
