Laundry Soap

I’ve found a laundry concoction that works for me. I use Dr. Bronners “Sal

Suds” and Dr. Bronners “All in One” Castile Soap. I fill the washer about ¼

full with hot/warm water and then add ¼ cup Sal Suds and a teaspoon of Dr.

Bronners “All in one - Baby Mild” Castile Soap. I then fill the washer with

a couple of inches of water (agitating would be best) to let the soaps mix

well. After that I add the clothes. I would not suggest puring them directly

on the clothes because the “All in one” saop can cause spotting. The reason

I add the “All in one” soap is because it has oils in it which condition the

clothes and you don’t need to use fabric softener.

I used to use “All-Free and Clear” detergent and fabric softener sheets but

even they irritated me. I work at a factory and have to wear jeans, even in

the summer. (I dread the summer) I’ve noticed the more you sweat the more

your skin will absorb what is in your clothes. Also the whole chaffing

thing....I’ve tried different types of powders and nothing really helped

until I switched detergents.

I’ve noticed this concoction also is good on stains as I can get quite

dirty at work. Also, if you have a trouble with clothes that have a bad odor

you can pre-soak your clothes in Arm and Hammer washing soda. It has no

scent and will take the stink out of anything. I have a cat that liked to

pee on bathroom rugs and it got the smell out. Then I figured I just better

not use bathroom rugs...hahahaha. Luckily she doesn’t like to pee on

anything else. The first time I used the concoction I used Dr. Bronners

all-in-one Peppermint soap but after washing with it I realized even a

little bit of that was irritating. I hope this helps!

If you are allergic to detergent/fabric softner.....what kind do you use

now?

Maybe I will change for awhile just to be sure.

Before I thought I was allergic to my husband because he was working with

insulation at his job. He was bringing it home on his clothes. He had to

wash

his clothes at the laundra mat for a month, but my itching got worse so

I knew it wasn't him. I actually washed out the washing machine basin and

washed my clothes in cold water. .... nothing else. I got tested for that

in the allergy

department at Kaise. But I don't trust them. That hospital is full of

" pardon my French "

on the Lord's Day, but full of idiots. I am not impressed with them at

all. I was

going to Kaiser for 20 years. At first they were great plus my co-pay was

$5.

7 years a go it went up to $20 co-pay. I know it was my husbands Union

carpentry

employer that had to raise the cost, but that was because Kaiser

increased everything too.

So it is a two-way street. Everything is going up except our pay checks.

The rich man

just keeps getting richer.

Peggy,

Maybe you have an allergy to something? What kind of laundry

detergent/fabric softener do you use? I know my skin has been very

sensitive

and itchy if I use the wrong things. I also noticed mine has been itchier

than normal lately.

I have been diligently take all my remedies for candida albicans

and candida diet, etc......

but my itching has not changed.

I believe that candida albicans has nothing to do with my itching.

I am not saying I don't have candida, probably more than likely

BUT

we need to be careful.

Yes, the diet has made me " Feel " better. Of course any change of diet

is for the good. I am continuing to take my garlic, yeast defense,

Acidophilus,

Kombucha tea, probiotics blah blah blah

Drink plenty of water and exercise, but the itching still remains.

So It is something else.
