Guest guest
Is there some place to go to get an abridged version of this eating concept? I can't seem to find the time to read everything that I've got my hands on as it is, and of course supposedly focus on sleep too! Guest guest
Kari, I don’t know if you have the book “The Key to Health..” , but I fyou do the “what to eat” is just a listing by type of food and by body type. As far as when to eat, I eat at noon and 6 pm and that’s it. I do have reactive hypoglycemia (or did) and I had no problems with this. With respect to sleeping, he suggest going to bed by 10, 10:30 at the latest and up with the sun. There are explanations for the reasons for all of the above in the book and a lot more details, but this gives you a good start. If you don’t have the book, you may be able to find something on the ‘net by searching on “ayurvedic” and “body type” or something like that. Hope this helps somewhat… Re: Re: mind-body connection/vata, pitta, kapha Is there some place to go to get an abridged version of this eating concept? Guest guest
The book, Natural Stomach Care" is also based on eastern and especially Ayurvedic principles and discusses eating according to the body constitution i.e. Pita, Vata and Kapha. It has ayurvedic principles on how to sleep, as well as Yogic principles for positive health and healing sickness.
