Guest guest
The candida diet offers the illusion of health, but as in your case, stray from and the illusion is over. Don't blame yourself, its all but impossible to follow that diet forever, and it probably causes some intense cravings. g > I had 2 weeks (about 10 days really) of following STRICT candida diet > & all was going well. Guest guest
The Candida diet is a stopgap measure at best, it holds things at bay until you can get to cleansing. Don't beat yourself up about cravings, we all crave sugar once in a while, even when candida isn't an issue. Live and learn, but, the diet isn't forever. You will be able to enjoy some of those things again (actually, to be honest, I didn't do very well on the Candida diet either!) Try to have some fun with it if you can though, try to get creative ... it takes your focus away from what you'd be better off not eating for now. What things are making you feel better? What is your goal for long term wellness? I ask these questions to help you develop your own " aversion therapy " for a while...maybe they will help you. The process can feel overwhelming, just take a few steps at a time. The good news is that once you can get some cleansing done and become accustomed to some positive lifestyle changes (like Key to health and rejuvination) things start to look up. Keep up the good work, hard lesson and I hope you feel better, you deserve to feel great. Deborah
Guest guest
Hi, I know how hard it is to stick to something. I am gradually switching to mostly raw veggies. I think we sometimes get attached to our illnesses. I say this because I notice (and I am speaking for myself) that even though I feel great I still will lapse back and feel the consequences. So what I say to myself is that how I feel is so worth sticking to the diet that is making me feel better. I deserve health and wellbeing. And only I can create it within myself. So be kind to yourself when you fall off the plan, but just use it as a boost to eat healthier and notice every increase in energy, symptoms lessening, and how every day your health and vitality is improving. My 2 cents. gigitobihorse <tobihorse@...> wrote: I had 2 weeks (about 10 days really) of following STRICT candida diet & all was going well. Start with a parasite cleanse even though my diet isn't back to being strict Candida diet again? My stomach is ok, but the scabs/itch is back on my scalp & feet, my eyes still acting funny. I'm also very concerned about doing a Liver Cleanse... sounds like I'll need to follow it with colonic cleansing or I could have problems? It's so hard for me to stick with the diet. Guest guest
I totally understand what you're going through. I had a similar experience with wine this weekend (but managed to talk myself out of having chocolate). Just start over and don't be too hard on yourself. Take it one day at a time. k. > > I had 2 weeks (about 10 days really) of following STRICT candida > diet > > & all was going well.
