Guest guest Posted March 14, 2004 Report Posted March 14, 2004 Rick that is so great! You've been through hell, you deserve to be the liver cleansing poster child. Wondering if at any point you would have considered yourself to have chronic fatigue syndrome? Just wondering how many people with this would benefit. Kari Sunday is Cheese Day About an hour after having basmanti rice and steamed veggies for lunch, I decided to try some of the Vermont cheese and Keebler townhouse crackers that I bought for my girl friend. I had at least 1/4 of the pound that I bought along with probably 2 dozen crackers. I felt fine, and still do. No symptoms at all, nada, zero, zilch, zippo! Before doing the flushes, cleanses, and the rest of s' advice, my girl friend had to eat cheese in the other room, and brush her teeth afterwards. I couldn't deal with the smell. It made me ill. That's how bad I was.I haven't had cheese in over a decade. Now I can eat it again. The crackers were pretty good too.I still have some issues, but I'm close to having my old life back. I plan on not going back to all my old ways. If I want to eat something I like, I can do it as long as I don't over do it.I started the flushes in August or September of last year. And started following s' advice after my third flush. For those that don't know, I drink 2 to 4 cups of Pau d Arco tea daily, take colosan and use a colema board to clean out my bowels, do the liver flushes, eat according to my dosha(body type), along with some other changes in my lifestyle.I don't spend tons monthly on supplements, and pretty soon, I'll be added to the list of people that have gotten better for good! And so can all of you!!!!Rick Quote
Guest guest Posted March 15, 2004 Report Posted March 15, 2004 The same thing happened to me Sherry. The neurologist I saw in the early 1990 thought it would be a good idea to give me an antidepressant called klonopin without telling me or anyone else what it was. If they can't find what's wrong, they say it's all in your head. Many allopathic doctors have said that to me. THEY made me nuts!!! I bet if I went back to them now, and told them what I know now, they would deny it. Even though I'm living proof! Rick > Hi Kari, > > I'm not Rick but, at one point in my frustrating search for what was > wrong with me, figured I must have chronic fatigue syndrome. The docs > couldn't find what was wrong with me. They finally decided I must be > depressed. Well, ye-ah! Duh. I felt like saying to them, " Of COURSE I'm > depressed! I went from an active gal with no weight problem to an exhausted > one who started piling on the pounds. And it happened practically > overnight. And all of you docs tell me the tests say there's nothing wrong. > It's my body and I'm telling you there IS something PHYSICALLY wrong -- not > just in my head! " > > Sherry (from Oregon) Quote
