of course you are correct. E.g., this article, with reference, refers

to the benefit given by yogurt. " Supplementing with probiotics, either

in concentrated form or in yogurt, may also provide benefit.... The

prevalence of asymptomatic Candida colonization of the vagina or

rectum was 74% lower during the yogurt period than during the control

period " (about 2/3's down on the page.)

That is the problem with robotic " rules " in cases like this: the rule

can prove to be silly or even harmful.

Of course, it's always a simple enough matter to experiment on

yourself. Just eat some yogurt or kefir or tvorog and see what

happens.
