Guest guest
Stress is one of the things I am still struggling with. Its one thing to get rid of candida, but another to change the way you see yourself and life to elimnate long standing stress. Meditation and exercise are probably key here. I have been practicing medidtion as advocated by s Moritz in some of his books, but I'm sure other types of meditation are just as applicable. More important probably is finding out why the stress exists in the first place. this takes some real soul searching, and I am still working on it. g > I have suffered incredible amounts of stress in my life...I have also > been diagnosed with PTSD. Guest guest
I am new to all of this too. I recently discovered that all of my problems were caused by candida, but I didn't know that stress could cause it. I had never had antibiotics, birth control pills, or other things that cause candida. I got it during my 6th month of my 2nd pregnancy. During this time my husband lost his job and health insurrance. We were in the middle of buying a house, it was Christmas, and I was getting closer to my due date (we were also renting an apartment next to drug dealers). I cried every night for over a month, until my dh was able to get another job. We luckily got the house, but things went wrong there and I ended up packing, unpacking, and packing again. Then we moved, and a couple of weeks later I had my baby. I KNOW my candida was caused by stress. Luckily, my stress is gone now that my dh has a job and we are in our house. I just have to focus on getting rid of this candida now. I finally found a Dr. who knows what candida is and am currently on the diet and treatment. If you need a referal to a Dr. in your area, I know a place that can help you. It would probably also help you to have counseling too. My best days are the days that I am serving others, because I forget about my own problems. Sometimes it is nice to help others because you focus on their problems and not your own. Anyway, keep posting and maybe we can work through this together! Jen > I have suffered incredible amounts of stress in my life...I have also > been diagnosed with PTSD. Guest guest
hi sheree, Someone posted this link the other day that i bookmarked (sorry don't remember who). if you scroll to the bottom of the page, there's a map of the US (I hope you're in the US). Select your state, and you can get a list of yeast/candida aware doctors. I have not tried this site - nor do I endorse it. I saved it in case I decide to go back to seeing doctors. I've been doing ok so far just by doing research and reading info. from this list. I'm considering seeing a naturopath, but that's an expense I cannot meet right now. Anyways, I figure this may be a good start for you. It's always best to talk to the doctor before setting up an appointment, ask questions and find out what they really know. Good Luck. http://www.parentsofallergicchildren.org/yeast_related_physicians.htm > > I have suffered incredible amounts of stress in my life...I have > also > > been diagnosed with PTSD.
