Another funny thing -- met a guy for a date, he assumed sense I had dogs I was a dog person and didn't have cats. The date was cut short when he informed me after suffering for quite a while that he was allergic to cats.

Sounds like a busy house hold, And Suzie you and your siblings were very gullible huh...Kathy B.ajlogan1 <ajlogan1@...> wrote: Hey Suzie, Thanks for the idea. Welllll, yes, I am over 40, with three cats and no other pets. However, does it

count that two of these cats were once my son's and have decided to live with me

instead of him since he got a dog?

Crazy? My shrink doen't think so, the pills he gives me are supposed to stop

the voices!! ;-)

Hey Suzie!

A weeks worth of doc appointments.. yuck. So what did the knee doc say.. not gout? Docs and money do have a way of getting a person down for sure. You have more than your share of doctors lined up, yuck!

Haven't seen Vissy but she is out there eating. Spyke needs to tell her that if she can be brave and stand still when the dogs run toward her, then their faces could be hers, lol. I think Vissy has decided that a place with all the food a gal can eat is not such a bad thing, but she is staying in hiding in case those nasty canines come around. Both my dogs do love cats, but if a cat runs a dog will chase.

It took the clinic 4 days and several phone calls from me to let me know my blood tests were ok, except white count is down so I will likely be infecting again.

I asked her 'what about the dizziness?' She said 'duh... I dunno.' I about sh_t as I realized that in 4 days she hadn't given my BP or dizziness a moments thought... grrr. I told her I drive a bus and this is very worrisome. She finally said she would call the doc. This morning after I bugged them again she called to let me know the cardiac unit at the hospital will call for an appointment to have me wear a monitor. The hubby is bugging me to start taking aspirin at least until I hear something from them.

I am cranky as hell but just came to my senses. After another dizzy morning I slapped myself and took the afternoon off and told them probably the next two, also. Then two weeks of vacation, hope this all gets under control by the first of the year. Now if I could just tear myself away from this damn Jewel game!

Tx itself is still going ok... my biggest fear now is that they might make me quit for some silly reason. Now that would piss me off. Don't ya just hate it when your world doesn't seem to cooperate?

Take care and chin up! Let us know what the docs say.

Llinda

Hey Llinda, I've got doctors appointments coming out the wazoo - making me crazy this week. I've got the specialist eye doctor tomorrow - to make sure I'm not going blind from the diabetes, Thursday is my family doctor ( knee & back ) and the chiropodist (foot doc) to test for peripheral neuropathy from the diabetes. Then Monday is the diabetes nurse & dietician, they're not going to be happy with me - my blood sugar's been very high lately & I just don't feel like working to get it under control. I don't see the HCV guy until Feb. & the gastro's not until August. I get the feeling that the guy I'm seeing for the HCV has basically given up on me. I see him only every three months & have to ask my family doc to give me blood requisitions. The whole tx thing is never mentioned any more.

I guess I'm feeling a little depressed lately. All the money problems are starting to get me down & it doesn't look like it's going to get any better. I had an appointment with my old psychologist but I cancelled it. He's working at the new hospital now & is not supposed to take outside patients so I suppose I'll have to find another one - I just don't have the energy these days.

This too shall pass, I guess. Spyke can still get me to laugh . I took him outside today & cracked up at the antics. How's Vissy doing? Did she come back ? And how is the llama llady doing ? Is tx treating you any better? It can be rough sometimes but it is worth it in the end.

Damn, Suzie! You gotta be more careful, girl. The doc won't let you start tx if you're broken all over!

Love you,

I went out this morning to shovel my walk & my neighbour's. Got to the bottom of the stairs & took one shovel full & fell . There was ice under the calf deep snow & it wiped me out. It took me at least 10 minutes to get up. I wrenched my knee which is now swollen up to twice it's normal size. My neighbour (on the other side) came over & cleared the walk for me which was sweet but I did ask her to send her son to do it. I'm going back to the couch as soon as my frozen fries get frozen again (I'm using them as an ice pack) Sitting up is not good for the knee.

Hope you guys are feeling better than me today.

H & K,

Suzie

By the way, I just heard from my lawyer. They've rescheduled my Disability hearing from March 10 to May 2. AARRRGGGHHH!!! If they're trying to make me crazy they're getting close to my breaking point. On the good side, this gives me enuff time to finally get that biopsy done !

Glad you're back,

Hey Suzie and Spyke...

I did call in to the doc today as am just not doing well and afraid of the weekend. That has probably shot my starting tx up again next week out the window. I am behaving, taking it easy and just plain sick today. Good news is the doc got onto the phone and called a couple of specialists for advice. They are going to draw more blood tomorrow and send down to Boise for bacterial analysis and other stuff. Will be a couple of weeks before I get the results. The good news is that Tuesdays blood draw came back as hcv still undetectable... no back sliding from the 12 week check, whew!

I may just donate the crochet hooks and buy a how to knit book. That I did learn a little, not much when I was a kid. Making sawdust or playing in dirt is much more my style but I bet the doc would frown on that right now, lol.

Quit yellin'... I was kidding... honest!

Catch ya later...

Llinda, I never could learn to crochet & my Mum tried & tried to teach me how but I can knit. I do a lot of scarves & afgans & I've got a pattern for the cutest knit backpacks for kids that all of my nieces & nephews love. Good luck with your new pass time & do everything the docs advise. Love & Hugs my friend, Suzie
