cytomel & synthroid

Hi, I was wondering if any of you had any info on the amount of

cytomel you should take with synthroid. I switched to a new doc

because of a move. My new TSH level was .04 so he cut my synthroid

down from 75 mcg to 25 mcg. He kept my current level of cytomel(T3)

(25 mcg) the same. I always thought that you should take less T3 than

T4. Although my TSH level is low, I am still having symptoms of

hypothryoid. My prior doc told me I would have to take thryoid meds

for life. My new doc said an infection may have caused my original

thryoid trouble and that many people with thryoid problems fully

recover from this. I was shocked, but figured I would ask you guys if

you heard of this. Any info would be appreciated! Thanks,
