Guest guest Posted February 11, 2006 Report Posted February 11, 2006 Sorry for the confusion Cory. I do need to update my article. I'm learning all of the time, and since writing that article January 2004 I've found that most candida sufferers do not tolerate any grains, and that they greatly slow progress, especially when starting on the diet, even buckwheat, millet, brown rice and quinoa. Bee > > Bee this is the info in your files under Candida diet. I am now getting really confused. > > >>>Since grains (except buckwheat, millet, brown rice, and quinoa) and most fruit (except lemons and limes) are eliminated on the Candida Control Diet this leaves a wide variety of vegetables that are healthy to consume.<<< > >>>>Grains that okay to consume are non-gluten grains such as millet, buckwheat, brown rice and quinoa. However, they are still high in carbohydrates and should be eaten in moderation. It is recommended that only 1/3 cup per day be consumed during the early stages of the candida program.<<<< Quote
