Guest guest
> > > Bee, then why did the glutamine in my body take care of my Leaky Gut problem? ==>Do you mean that it helped your bloating and gas? Because a leaky gut is not cured until you've gotten the candida under control so it is not overgrowing any more. >What are we to do for that problem if we can't take L-Glutamine? ==>It may have helped your bloating but the major problems l-glutamine supplements cause are in the brain with emotional and mental disturbances and fatigue. ==>Your bloating will improve greatly as you stick to the diet, especially good saturated fats that heal the intestines and contribute to their integrity and health. Candida toxins put out carbon dioxide that causes bloating and gas. Taking l-glutamine to help the intestines is like taking a drug which suppresses symptoms and does not contribute to healing. Guest guest
> > > _http://www.fitwise.com/L-Glutamine_Information.asp_ > (http://www.fitwise.com/L-Glutamine_Information.asp) Bee, could you please read this article for me. ==>Thank you for the reference. It is very similar to numerous other ones that I have read. Of course most of these articles are written because the sites are selling L-Glutamic supplements. Please do not believe everything you read. ==>Notice that the diet they recommend is extremely inadequate, i.e. carbs including potatoes, and only 5% saturated fats. That kind of diet would require that a person take not only L-Glutamine but also all of the other essential amino acids. ==>It is true that glutamine, as well as all of the other essential and non-essential amino acids, are important for leaky gut and for increasing probiotics in the gut, etc. Taking them in isolation in a supplement form is not beneficial - taking them as meats and eggs along with the necessary fats is beneficial. Fats help pull nutrients out of all foods, even meats & eggs, and also heals the intestines. ==>Of course this article does not mention the problem caused by alcohol (candida toxins) which I stated in my earlier message. ==>You don't have to stop taking L-Glutamine Faith. It is UP to you. If you are seeking my approval however you will be seeking for it in vain. I recommend good healthy meats and eggs, not L-glutamine supplements.
