The person below who complained of skin problems,

what were they? I can't tell who since there are

several people postings below.

Also, what were your stomach symptoms?

Thanks, Barb

Hi Barb,

The skin problems are exzema, on my hands feet and face, and stomach

problems -you name it! I alternate between diarhoea and constipation with

bloating and trapped wind in between. It all seemed to start off when I was

living as a student, after I'd been travelling in South America and was

living in a damp basement flat in Glasgow. It was really wet and the mould

was literally growing on the walls. Te exzema on my hands got so bad I

couldn't draw ( I was an art student) and I couldn't digest a thing,

particularly starchy food. The doctor prescribed antibiotics for the exzema,

and it seemed to help the stomach problems. (a friend of mine who is a

doctor suggested that maybe I'd picked up a parasite in South America and

that the antibiotics had killed it off.

But my digestion has never really recovered, and both that and the exzema

get worse in cold damp weather. This British winter is making things almost

unbearable!

Also, I have had irregular periods for years now. Sometimes none for a whole

year. -I've heard menstrual irregularities being mentioned as a symptom of

Candida... What is the relationship exactly?

Thanks everyone,

Isabel

Have you ever considered emu oil? It has been known for a long time to the

aborigines, and is very well accepted in the alternative health circles. It

has been effective with all manner of skin conditions related to fatty acid

deficiencies.

You can read about it at www.life-enthusiast.com/emu
