Guest guest
Being that I have spent lots of time in the hospital I know how sometimes you get a nurse you just CAN'T STAND. This happened to me once after childbirth. This happened to my daughter when she was telling us that when anyone talked it made her pain worse and she wanted everyone to stop talking. I shut up because I understand about the mental zone you have to be in to deal with pain, but the nurse kept talking and talking and my daughter said " I will feel so much better when you get out of my room. " she is normally the sweetest thing and I am extra strict on manners since we homeshool and I am around my children all the time. I tried so hard not to laugh. In her defense she was in pain and she did ask the nurse nicely to stop talking a few times. I am just wondering if you guys had any nurses rub you the wrong way while you were in the hospital. How did you handle it? I am going to try to be a model patient, but sometimes people just clash. Throw in pain meds and some stress and I am sure that I may be a little touchy. I am hoping for the best, but I wanted to hear some of your stories. Don't get me wrong I think nurses are great. Nursing is a tough job and I am appreciative of that.
