Guest guest Posted June 25, 2006 Report Posted June 25, 2006 -Vonnie....remember..no coasters!!! Don't wanna hear you been doin anything your not suppose to while in Maine!!!!Ferris wheels are ok and merry go rounds but no coasters!!!! Yeah, it felt good to be able to walk all day and not be bent over dying in siatic pain...I was a bit winded trying to keep up with the kids on some of the hills and I kept hearing Rand in my head going " don't let anyone make you walk faster than you are able to do so, walk at your own pace, do not try to lengthen your stride " . SO I kept yelling at them to " hey, wait for your mother who is fused to the sacrum " ....they did not find it very funny..but it got them to stop.,PA -- In , " Vonnie " <vonniec20032000@...> wrote: > > Hi Pa,WOW I can't believe you did all that walking and up on > your feet all that time.Isn't that just wonderful and I can't wait > till I can do the same thing...YEAH YEAH YEAH it feels so good to do > some of the things I'm doing so far like walking, that was a big > thing as you know before this surgery. And to boot it even gets better > from all that I'm hearing from you and Cam and the rest of us.I will > have somewhat of a normal life if there is a normal..HAHA!!I rented a > cottage in Maine for the end of july into august and I will be taking > grandchildren so we will be going to old orchard beach and taking > them on the rides and walking so I'll let you know how I did with > that.
