Guest guest
<<4) Preparations taken orally to stimulate the release of the contents of the colon are irritants to the colon in one form or another...>> Is that also true of castor oil? I thought that castor oil was a lubricant. I know for a fact that it cleans from the duodenum (bottom of the stomach) all the way through the intestines. I know of no other cleanser that does so. It is the only small intestine cleanser that I'm aware of. Also, castor oil packs (heated packs applied externally) clean out both small and large intestine. Guest guest
<<Is there a certain way of applying the castor oil pack to the stomach? Also how much and how often should you take it orally? Should this be done while fasting? Thanks >> For the external pack, one should use flannel, folded to 3 or 4 layers of a size to cover the upper portion of the abdomen. It should be saturated with castor oil, but not dripping. Some instruction at cure zone at: http://www.curezone.com/cures/castoroil.html You then cover the flannel with plastic and then a heating pad over that. Generally suggested to do for an hour or so, and for 3 to 5 consecutive days. If you do a Google search for " castor oil packs " you can find more explicit instructions. Orally - start with 1 tablespoon. It takes a while for the effect but it is a very potent laxative. Jay

Guest guest
> > Hello, I am asking this question for my friend that is doing the diet 100%, however she has been having alot of pain with her colon when she lays down at night, and sometimes during the day. What can she do to help with the pain. She is not constipated. +++Hi Angie from Az. It is difficult to advise when I don't know whether she is getting gas, bloating, etc. and whether her digestion is good. If she has ever had similar pains in the past her body will be retracing them as it is healing: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal10.php If this is a new symptom then I recommend she do the 9-Day Program: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/dig6.php Bee
