Hi June! Wow! I am so happy to hear from you!!! I can't find my planner that has your phone number in it so I was thrilled to see your email!! Ya-hoo to your feeling better! Its been a long time since you were able to say that! I am happy for you! I was worried about you! I wasn't able to have the surgery....the doctor decided that he couldn't do it because he didn't think it would work, eventhough I had been a total success when Dr E did it last year! He wanted me to try another procedure that was tried with NO success 4 times. You do the math! The other thing was taht I really didn't like him or trust him.....He said some things about Dr E that made me crazy, he said that Dr E had messed up the veins in my right foot and leg because he neglected to put me on blood thinners prior to the surgery. I asked him if he was at all familiar with the revision surgery that I

had and he said sort of....Sort of?! Is that like being sort of pregnant?!?!?! Dr E was in agreement that I could and should have the surgery again and that if it was a success before it was a good precurser for it being successful again. And he agreed with me that I had concerns that the other procedures that were tried in the past were done prior to my revision and I have SO much more hardware and fusion in the area that it would be much more difficult to get any success. My pain mgmt doctor is trying to find a new doctor that will be on the same page as they are.... The process is long and slow with the medical field here....not like up north! Boo-Hoo! Dr E found a doctor in NYC d to do the surgery but that would mean that I would again have to travel and find the money to pay for the very expensive stay and airfares etc....Not going to happen after the last surgery up there....we spent over $10,000 when I

had my revision sugery and that was just in airfare and hotels...UGH! My husband said that we just don't have the resources this time. I will let you know what I find out when I get the information on the new surgeon. I hope it will be sooner than later I am seeing a decline each week. Say a little prayer. I hope that you will continue to see improvement with your recovery! You sound good! Take you time and give yourself a break with the healing of your side! You've had alot to recover from! I am glad to hear you sounding better! Please give me a call! We need to catch up! Hugs to you! Suzie
