Guest guest
hey barb, that is interestng. i don't have the racy feeling all the time, but i recognise what you're talking about and i have felt it before, and i can even report that sometimes it has happened while taking more vitamins than usual. our livers are working so hard all the time anyway, especially when we're in a weakened state, so that makes good common sense to me that ingesting too many vitamins & supplements could make us feel worse, not better. let us know how you continue to feel after reducing your vitamin doseage, i'm intrigued! ~ suz She > felt my liver was working overtime, expending much energy dealing > with those vitamins I wasn't using or absorbing. Guest guest
Hi Barb. I was interested to read your email, since I have had similar problems with that " racy " feeling and finally figured out it happened after I'd had vitamin and mineral supplements. I haven't done any research on this, but it makes sense to me that some of our bodies just don't absorb the extra vitamins and minerals, or can't process too many at one time. So we have to lower the dosage or reduce the frequency of the supplements in order for our bodies to better use them and not overreact. I'm continually discovering that I have to " fine-tune " every supplement and medication, to find that level where my body will accept whatever it is and process it without noticeable side-effects. So far, it's always about half the dosage of what is recommended, and with a much lower frequency! Kim M.
Guest guest
--- Thanks for sharing , Kim. There's comfort in knowing that others are having similar experiences, making similar dicoveries. One thing I have learned here is that so many bodily systems are affected by the candida. For me, discovering a solution I can do something about immediately (the " racy " feeling), felt very encouraging. And we all could use lots of that! Take care..... barb p.s. The racy feeling is still gone.....Yeah!..I'm going with the supplement theory in my case.
Guest guest
Dear Barb, >>>One thing I have learned here is that so many bodily systems are > affected by the candida. For me, discovering a solution I can do > something about immediately (the " racy " feeling), felt very > encouraging. And we all could use lots of that! Take care..... I have to qualify an earlier statement about the supplements I took. I only took supplements that met the " muscle test " for my body as well. And I also used the pendulum to test the amount I should take every day. That said, I firmly believe supplements, unless they are trully concentrated whole foods and herbs, are toxic and foreign to our bodies. My preference would be to not take any supplements of any kind. At the moment I can't because there are some important nutrients I cannot obtain from my foods. Toxic supplements are still better than not obtaining enough of certain nutrients. And my body protests loudly if it doesn't get enough of the basics, especially B Vitamins, Cal/Mag, potassium, vit. c and oil soluble vitamins. And boy since I started taking fish oils along with coconut oil my skin has become so soft and supple, like a babies. It's wonderful! >>>p.s. The racy feeling is still gone.....Yeah!..I'm going with the > supplement theory in my case. ==>In your case the supplement theory sounds correct. However, for the sake of not misleading others we must remember that everyone is different. Sometimes when we obtain, and absorb, the " right " nutrients or nutrient combinations, or the ones we are lacking it will also alleviate that racy feeling or other similar symptoms. Muscle testing can help eliminate things that cause it, whether it is foods, supplements or shampoo. Also consider how important minerals are. They are the basic buildings blocks of our bodies. For instance trace minerals are best obtained from " good " water and Celtic sea salt. Luv, Bee
