Hi Bee,

I have had a question for a while and never got around to asking. Does

CHEWING the garlic count as crushing it up? The garlic I've been eating

(raw organic garlic) is quite mild and I have no trouble chewing it up

and swallowing it.

I've had good results with the pau d'arco tea, not just for candida. I

haven't had a headache in ages, it seems, and a persistent cough I used

to have has also been gone for a while. I attribute these to the pau

d'arco.

I think the best things I've had results with for candida so far are oil

of oregano (I was taking a few drops of that mixed with a tablespoon

of olive oil 3X/day), grapefruit seed extract (that seems to benefit many

things, not just the candida condition), and Candex (somewhat expensive,

though). I didn't have much results at all with caprylic acid. I also

just finished off some SF722, which I took for about a month. I didn't

notice a whole lot, good or bad, from that. I'm going back to the oil of

oregano now and may add oil of cloves.

Hi Zack,

>>>I have had a question for a while and never got around to asking.

==>Chewing the garlic is the same as crushing it. It's great you can

do it. Most people wouldn't and that's why crushing it is important.

candida. I haven't had a headache in ages, it seems, and a

==>That's a wonderful testimonial on pau d'arco tea's benefits.

That's great Zack, and thanks!

==>Thanks for the report Zack. I agree with you about oil of

oregano, but I haven't tried grapefruit seed extract. I recently

bought a very expensive oil of oregano at 20% off because the line

was being discontinued and wow! It is very potent indeed! The

difference between brands was very noticeable. You only have to take

one drop at a time as well so it costs less in the long run than

cheaper brands. I'd be interested to know how you do on oil of

cloves.

I also bought Pau D'arco extract made by New Roots Herbal in Quebec,

Canada. It is a convenient way to get it. It tastes okay so I just

put drops under my tongue 2-3 times a day. It can also be used in

hot water as a tea or in cold purified water. Interesting eh?

I just checked out Candex - don't know why I didn't previously. I'm

impressed. It's actually enzymes that dissolve the cell walls of

Candida. And it says it works gently with no " die off " ? Is that

true Zack? You took Candex Pure Essence, right? How many did you

take a day? For 120 capsules it costs about $44 U.S.

I'm glad you are free of headaches and that your cough went away.

You are certainly making progress. Good on ya!

The best to you,

Bee

hey bee!! thanks for the welcome!

the herbs i talked about came in a hard pill form....they smell quite

nice actually..the licorice being the most noticeable...i will

definitely check out the recipes....it can be a killer to look in the

fridge and have to be so careful all the time but it needs to be

done!! If the yoga and meditation has thought me anything its

discipline and self-control so i just need to apply the same attitude

to my diet..I have been thinking about using probiotics too, so i will

have a look into that...

be good!!

Speaking of garlic is it best to keep in refrigerator or at room

temperature?

I find it keeps longer in the refrigerator. It tends to sprout when I keep

it at room temperature. Either way is fine, I would think. If you use it

fast enough, it won't have the opportunity to sprout!
