Guest guest
I don't know, Gracia. She said that my anti-TPO antibodies may be causing false-positives. I do have symptoms. So how do you know without testing if i have a disease or if it's my anti-TPO antibodies that are skewing results? i can't figure that one out. hugs, sheila Gracia <circe@...> wrote: too bad the doc doesn't know she doesn't have to test for all kinds of diseases! You just need proper thyroid/adrenal treatment. Gracia > Hi guys! Well, so far I like my rheumie. She is very soft-spoken, > gentle, and seems very kind. She explained things to me in great > detail. Guest guest
I am really glad to hear this. I am not sure if you are on the right dose yet! this is what happened to me. I couldn't take more than 90mg of Armour, I thought that was all I needed. Then I worked on my adrenals (cortef, 7-keto DHEA, compounded hormones). Suddenly I was getting hypo symptoms back again. Now I am taking 6 grains of Armour/day and I sure am amazed. I needed adrenal hormones in order to tolerate and use the Armour. Remember my TSH has always been 1 or below and no one would give me thyroid meds!!!! Have you tried DHEA? 10 mg might help you too. Gracia Good Morning, Gracia! Wanna hear something weird. I hardly have any asthma problems at all anymore. I think I've had one asthma attack since I started Armour. My allergist told me I'm classic for asthma--textbook--so much so he was showing his staff the computer printouts of my breathing tests and stuff. I guess someone who falls into that classic asthma profile must not come along often. Anyway, when I went back for my last appt., he said my lungs are so much better...huge improvement. He decreased my medicine. He said I have chance for excellent reversability. I'll have to ask what that means...reversability of damage to my lungs...reversability of asthma...not sure. He told me I need to stop working with seafood and to leave my job. Hopefully this summer I will follow up with that. I was amazed after reading that link posted. I had no idea OA or RA could be reversed. How do I know if I'm on the right dose of Armour now? I'm not getting enough sleep and rest, so of course I'm gonna feel tired. Even my extremely dry hands are starting to clear up? you think this is the right dose then? thanks! Have a great day! Hugs, Sheila
Guest guest
How come you felt worse for awhile after you started working on your adrenals? I've never tried DHEA. take care, sheila Gracia <circe@...> wrote: I am really glad to hear this. I am not sure if you are on the right dose yet! this is what happened to me. Guest guest
Proper adrenal treatment affects thyroid hormone absorption. Some people can decrease thyroid hormones, stay the same or increase. I need to increase. Gracia How come you felt worse for awhile after you started working on your adrenals?
