Hi Keisha, I take my multi-vitamin 4-5 hours after I take my thyroid meds. if

you take your vitamins too close to when you take your thyroid meds, your

thyroid meds probably won't work as well. take care, sheila

reading about what you said about a muti-vit. i was wondering this-- I thought

when you had hypothroidism, you couldnt take vits because it messes up your

throid meds you are on.. I stopped taking my meds because of it, so r u saying

it is okay for me to take the vits? When is the best time to take after my

throid meds? thanks for info.. keisha

winter is hard for me too. I use a small stepper which has resistence bands. I

put on my favorite music (classic rock, disco...anything that's really fast and

upbeat) and just go to it. Sometimes I just put on the VH1 classic video

channel. I used to dance in winter months, but not now...not enough room.

Have you thought about joining an aerobic group or something? I took dance

lessons one winter. The social interaction helped keep my mood up a lot. I've

always loved dance anyway...decided to try something new. Are you interested in

learning swing or something. It'll give you a great workout for sure!

I'm happiest when I'm on the tennis court. That's my favorite!!! I love walking,

too.

What do you enjoy?

Does exercise in general seem to increase your energy? Are you having a hard

time right now because your energy is way down and you don't feel like you have

much energy for exercise?

I'm taking a multi-vitamin, Vit. E, calcium/magnesium/Vit D combo, a B-complex,

and Vit. C.

If you're not taking a multi-vitamin, you really should at least consider it. It

may help you. Take care, Sheila

I am having a hard getting through the winter months. Unable to walk

has anyone heard good or bad obout taking supplements to increase

energy or is this where good diet and excerise comes in.
