Guest guest Posted August 29, 2003 Report Share Posted August 29, 2003 Hi everyone, My name is Kim. I was diagnosed as Hypothyroid about a week ago, although I believe I have been Hypo much longer. My TSH was 7.988 and my T4 was 1.19 ( 0.89-1.80). I also have Fibromyalgia and had a Hysterectomy Two years ago, due to Endo and Adenomyosis. I started on 30 mg Armour Thyroid Two days ago. I took it in the morning and did o.k until about 6pm, when I would become very tired and my Fibro pain would become worse. Yesterday, I took half in the morning and was going to take the other half in the evening. A couple of hours after I took It I developed Flu like syptoms. Chills, fatigue and terrible muscle pain, especially in the neck area. I'm not sure what happened. Is this a common side effect? Am I on too low a dose? I had to talk my doctor into trying the Armour. She wanted to start me on Synthroid, so I really don't want her to take me off it and put me on the Synthroid, which I'm afraid she might do. Help!
