Yes, you hit the nail on the head! Thank you. That is exactly how I feel,

overwhelmed & I feel that I can't think straight enough to learn all I need to

learn about this disease.....just a walking zombie somedays! ~ it's sooooo nice

to know that there are people who can relate.

Tina especially amazes me at the amount of energy she puts in to helping all of

us.....what an angel!!!!! She inspires me to get the help I need to feel

better..... hope you are on the road feeling better Tina!

Off to the grocery store.....enjoy the rest of the weekend!

No, you didn't sound like you were blaming the school at all. I think we

should expect that they're going to provide nutritious lunches. I'm sure they

are nutritious, but so many children have special needs and I imagine it's hard

for schools to accomodate those needs.

I still haven't read the Broda book. I want to, but right now I'm

reading one on the glycemic index. I do need to buy the book soon though.

Yes, we should all be feeling great!! Too bad so many doctors aren't committed

to us feeling that good!

I try to respond to as many posts as I can. Sometimes though with my crazy

schedule, I just can't reply every time I'd like to. All I know is I'm very

grateful for ya'all. I've been here for almost a year now and have learned a lot

and gotten tons of support. Thanks guys!!!

, take it easy, lady and have a great night! hugs, Sheila

use it to better our treatments and options.

for us to think about!!!

Everyone here is really great about sharing info and experiences!!!

Hi Tina -

So glad you are feeling better! - I'm determined to get the right care so that I

feel better....the more I learn the more I think I should try Armour.

What would we do without the internet and all this information??? I know I'd

feel awful and totally isolated about this disease.

take care & have a good day,

I have been begging my mom to try armour she too has high blood

pressure and does what her doctor tells her to do and takes only a

synthetic t4. Meanwhile she took only one of my thryoid glandulars

when I was down in Fla. and for the first time she had no leg pain

and it even lasted a few days.

I tell her mom it's the t3 as little as it is in that one glandular

that is what helped you. I was surpised only one pill could work but

she has a very sensitive system. She can't even take vitamins without

getting sick. Very strange.

So she takes high blood pressure medication and her T4 (which has

really helped her) but she is no where near 75% like Shelia says--she

still has a lot of leg pain and cramping.

So I keep at it. Some people just need t4/t3--and if you can take

armour--you will get t1 and t2 and a few other chemical componets

they have not named yet. And we really don't know what they do or

don't do.

But if you feel better than take whatever works for you!!!! and it's

worth a try --you can always go back to your old meds if it does not

work for you!!!!!
